Our 93 Ford Ranger

My husband’s 93 Ford Ranger is a truck like no other. I first met her when my then male companion, Mark came to pick me up for an evening outing  Mark was the most classy, gentle and interesting man I’d ever met and I was looking to get to know him better.

Mark bought the Ford Ranger for seven grand. The moment he laid eyes on her sturdy chassis, he went about to furnish her with all sorts of extras,  especially a grant  sound system to listen to his favorite rock ‘n’ roll tunes.

After we married, I became intimately acquainted with her. Her two main functions were hauling telephone books to be delivered and our PA system for our outreach ministry.  Mark and I went on a search for a good  cap to protect our equipment in inclement weather. We found a good-looking used red cap with a spider on the side.  Everywhere I parked, I was asked if I was an exterminator.   I was a cool, Christian rock n roll mama, ready to do any work for my heavenly Father!

As she was getting on years and miles, Mark continued  keeping up meticulously with oil, transmission fluid changes and other necessary upkeep repairs. He did almost all of them himself and as I watched him struggle with the work that  taxed his back, I was thankful to have such a handy and gifted husband otherwise our auto repair bills would have driven us to debt!

She was a sturdy girl and my traveling ministry cats had their own special areas they perched on during our long rides to nursing homes, hospitals and especially the board walks where we entertained passerby’s on my guitar.

My favorite feline, PeeWee knows every inch of our Ford Ranger and has her special spot on the little foldout seat in back of the passenger seat. Though the old girl has  over 3000,00 miles, she still purrs like a kitten.

If everyone pampered their Ford Ranger or any vehicle, they would get a long life and use. But I think her longevity is due to my praying and speaking blessing over her daily! Long live my 93 Ford ranger.

Trumpets blaring doom, gloom and judgments are increasing and with even more urgency than ever before by today’s modern prophets. Augusto Perrez, Reverend Jim Bakker,  Pastor John Hagee and Past Jack Van Impe continually  remind us of God’s impending wrath and judgment coming to both America and to whole world  for the  rampant sin and evil. They warn us that soon, if we do not repent, we will enter into the tribulation as prophesied in the Book of revelations.

The signs are all there and regardless of  scoffers derision’s, God is calling his chosen people to prepare, much like Noah building an ark for his family and the animals, thus ushering in the beginning of the end of life on earth as we now know it.

Today, I asked the Lord why He would allow such a devastating catastrophe to happen to the beautiful world He created.  I wondered in sorrow as I watched a you-tube video showing the movement of a massive meteorite in its orbital path similar to scenes in the film, Deep Impact. I mourned that the movie was a little too true to life and not as far-fetched  as most movie-goers would believe. I wondered what would make God go so far as to allow earth to be completely ripped apart up by natural disasters. Immediately, the Lord brought to mind Romans 1:21

… They were not thankful and glorified him not as God.” Everyone, including those without TV and radio access are exposed to the magnificent and invisible attributes of creation, therefore they are without an excuse. Romans goes on to point out that women gave themselves over to that which was unnatural and men were burned with unbridled lusts for other men! Those who practiced such acts were worthy of death.

God was certainly intolerant of certain things and the book of Romans Chapter 1  gives a clear description of the actions attributes that would pervade most of society in the latter days right before His judgments. It looks to me, man has not evolved, but devolved in light of all his amazing technology, science and medical advances.

Idolatry was rampant during the old testament where the barbaric nations  worshiped idols of stone, silver, wood and the stars rather than the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob. Globally, technology seems to have replaced the tangible statues and figurines of  ancient times, from the five- year-old riding her bicycle with a cellphone in her other hand to  adults playing Facebook games for hours on end.

Gone are the days when youngsters would marvel at the living creatures inhabiting the neighborhood pond and woods and spending much of  their daylight hours outdoors. Nowadays, the seats are all occupied in the children section of the library.  Kids are fighting gladiator “Terminators” and “Predators” on their computers.

An article was recently published in a Philadelphia magazine, “The Dumbing Down of our Kids.”  Indeed our youth are becoming brain-dead socially and spiritually and are sorely lacking all the social and creative skills their parents were so endowed with.

With the alarming rise in crime, theft and traffic safety, much of society has lost their ability to discern with their a spiritual compass.

We are still here, though, thank the Lord, but our time is running out. Woe to humanity. God’s cup is bubbling and seething violently, ready to overflow it into judgment and wrath. This brew has been violently boiling for ages and yet God has graciously looked away, hoping that man will turn away from his depravity.

Even secular Hollywood filmmakers are taking seriously the world’s impending destruction Deep Impact, Armageddon and the Book of Eli having huge box-office success. People flock to be shaken up and we should take heed for these depictions are not so far from reality.  May the world be informed that there is a hope for the world, God’s spirit-filled, spirit-led people, the Bride of Christ. We are the power holding back the tsunami tides of evil utterly devouring what’s left of our once proud and glorious nation.

My brothers and sisters in Christ,  let us wake up and show the world what God has blessed us with. Let the world see our good works of charity and compassion, unselfishness and generosity. We must be salt and light, opposing those things that are wrong, not turning a passive shoulder and accepting it.  The old testament prophets said people called evil good and good evil.

Now is the acceptable time of salvation, Jesus Christ and His legacy of love. We have little time, my brethren before the trumpets blow and the death angels will come for their prey.  Go out and make fishers of men. Share the  Good News of Jesus Christ with the world before millions are  swiftly swept up beneath the Tsunamis or blown up by volcanoes into the abyss of their eternal destiny!

Journal Entry, Monday, July 4th, 2011

Since March 2007, my main focus has been to speak and believe in my healing of this miserable, draining and mysterious condition, Dystonia. Many of my friends, fellow musician/artists and  family still understand very little of what I go through on a daily basis and their expectations of me add to my stress load.

Getting through my boardwalk Gospel concert with my band this past Saturday was a great challenge. Between rehearsals, organizing the set list and preparing, my spasms were very violent and draining. Though my band mates sounding wonderful, I couldn’t enjoy anything due to the intense movements of my mouth and throat muscles. I couldn’t wait to get home and drop into bed.  The next morning, after yet another night of poor sleep,  I dragged myself out of bed in a zombie-like state, praying for God to get me through my worship leading at Pastor Sandra’s church service.

As I put my guitar in its stand and took my seat, I already felt the spasmodic movements increase. I had to rest my head forward on the back of the seat to get some relief and so everyone would see my facial grimaces.  My throat muscles throbbed and lower mouth and jaw opened every second. My eyes were squeezing shut and opening. In 15 minutes all my make-up came off from the constant tearing. I was getting more and more miserable by the minutes and could barely focus on Pastor Sandra’s Message. I could only imagine what the other people though of me.

A day in the life of DYSTONIA.

Afterwords, I had a full afternoon and evening of cramming two sets of parents visits into 4 hours. After service, I collapsed exhausted onto the back floor area of our car.

After today’s holiday, I will jump back into the tedious race of finding the proper practitioner who can address this disorder.  Of the 3 primary care physicians, six neurologists, eight chiropractors, several acupuncturists, and one myofacilaist, only one has come close in giving me the most accurate diagnosis, Natalia, in Toms River New Jersey.

She has given me the utmost care and concern with her holistic/natural approach and high technology. After Natalia gave me my medical computer scan and the results showed my c1 to c5 vertebrae were getting no circulation, I just about started to cry. Natalia asked me if any doctors were addressing my damaged Vagus nerve. I said

“they don’t even know what it is”

She burst out laughing hysterically.,
“Idiots…they don’t know what they are doing!”

My last primary care physician had no idea what DYSTONIA was either.! I was appalled and I’d had to pay for the office visit. Mark flipped out when I told him about my disappointing incident.  I was running out of patience and suffering greatly. Not only me, but my poor husband was at his wits end trying to get coverage by our insurance company. For three years in a row, they refused to cover at least $70 and we were almost $7,000 in credit card debt in only the middle of the year. This condition was taking atoll on our finances, health and

My husband Mark’s suspicion about high metals were confirmed by my two hair analysis, but none of the doctors wanted to address his concerns or even suggest a treatment that his insurance would cover. Thus over four years of suffering and greatly diminished life quality.

I am confident that Natalia has pinpointed the Vagus nerve condition. I’m sure that even many DYSTONIA sufferers may have a maladjustment of their upper vertebrae and if the pinched area of the nerve is reset, we can move on to healing!

I hope that Dystonia sufferers will look into the injured Vagus nerve as a possible cause of their spasms as well as being open to alternative means of treatment. Natalia said some devices she used were not even accepted in these United States. Of course not, the drug companies will lose out on their kick-backs and business. They want us to be totally dependent of drugs that does not even treat the root cause of the condition. And, patients are settling for band-aids that are costly and further damaging to their bodies and minds.

People, you need to wake up. Are you willing to further damage your body without taking the time to do the research and use wisdom. God created your body to heal itself. Think  about it! Seek a great and caring natural practitioner.

Here is the area I suffer from: throat, neck, oro-mandibular jaw jount and ears.
