SERIOUSLY In LOVE

God is about to pour His wrath on America and the nations. I continue to pray and cry out daily for God’s mercy.Another major earthquake just killed thousands of people. Imagine untold numbers of precious souls falling swiftly into the gaping mouth of Hell. If only the people would remember the covenant God made with Abraham and centuries later Moses.

Yesterday, I asked God why His judgement was going to be so cataclysmic and horrific. My relationship with my Father is lavish with love, provision, strength, joy and peace. It’s hard to imagine that such a loving Father could destroy His own creation by fire. My continued seeking led me to the beginning of His timetable with us.

God started out creating light and day, land, the creatures teaming in the sea, the herb of the earth and finally creating Adam and Eve. After each creation, He would say, “it is good”! That sounds to me like creating and designing he universe, the creatures and man & woman in His own image was delightfully invigorating. Never before has the book of Genesis been so intimate. God created man and woman for fellowship. Though He loved His creation, the rocks, mountains, plants and animals could not provide Him with the “connection” He sought. I though about this a minute and was deeply moved. An unfathomable and all-encompassing spirit wanted to emotionally connect with His creation!

Once I got past that illuminating fact, God reminded me of how the very heavens declared His glory. How could any person gaze at the Milky Way and the stars and not acknowledge that something or someone far greater than Himself was watching? I became very sad. Billions of God’s creation teem this planet, but how many actually stop to thank Him for the beauty? I was also deeply humbled realizing how worthy He is of our glory and thanks. Why was I blessed to have a personal relationship with Him and so many are completely unaware of His majesty and so many were not. I continued to ponder this great mystery.

God had a plan for Adam and Eve. He planned to make a great nation through their offspring, Abraham. Later, God was even more precisely devising an amazing plan…a journey into His very heart after seeing yet many more generations who had no interest in connecting with their Creator/father. He chose a shy man with a speech impediment named Moses. This was definitely God giving us yet another chance, the benefit of the doubt, to make it as “doable” as possible to connect with Him. God asked Moses to present His people with the ten Commandments.

The first commandment presented stated that He was the Lord our God and we are to acknowledge His deity, per-eminence and fatherhood over us. We are to love Him with all our body, mind and strength. Love is the greatest and highest commandment and can be laborious duty and responsibility. nevertheless, we are to take it seriously. If we love God in such a serious fashion, we will automatically love our neighbor as ourselves!

We are commanded to love even the unlovable, the wayward and the cruel. While Jesus was abused, He said, “Father forgive them for they know not what they do.” Imagine being so buffeted and marred beyond even looking like a human! Jesus knew they were not regenerated or knew the truth. We often misunderstand those around us when they do not fulfill our secret expectations? We become bitter, we back-bite, we spread slander and we accuse, rather than pray for understanding. we’d rather hold on to forgiveness and then become angry and bitter. Jesus reminds us to forgive our brother seventy times seventy, with an open heart. Often, when people are mean or attack it’s because they may be stuck in the bad habit of lashing out at the first person, rather than addressing the issue as it comes.

One of the reasons there is such strife and chaos in the world is lack of love displayed by God’s people. Some are perpetually on a witch hunt, looking actively for any reason to condemn, criticize and scrutinize within the parameters of their perception. The Bible tells us to be quite the opposite, to be forgiving and tender-heated. Do we listen to each other with open hearts? Or are we so busy planning the next comeback that we can’t be bothered to hear compassionately what our brother or sister has to say?

God is love. He created the world, the cosmos and humanity in love and in order. He sent his own son to the earth as a helpless infant for the purpose of reconciling us to Himself, but because of the world rejecting His love and sacrifice, His son will come back to earth as a judging high priest on a white stallion. God’s cup has overflowed. He is fed up and angry. He is most angry at His people who have strayed from the basic commandments of His father’s heart. He grieves at the disrespect towards life. He cries that His creation takes thoughtless pleasure in butchering h unborn children. He cannot condone genocide, particularly towards His people, the Jews.

God was seriously in love when he created the earth, moon, stars and universe. He delighted in what would become of Adam and Eves offspring throughout the generations under His care and providence. God has fallen out of love with His creation, just as he did when He had to destroy all of mankind except Noah and his family.

Upon hearing all the terrifying prophecies of last year and before, I’m amazed that Father’s sledge-hammer hasn’t crushed all the earth. His special people, the remnant Bride, who love and honor Him petition everyday and night for His mercy to prevail and that we can still share His “Good News” …to those who will listen. There is too much work to be done to be distracted and carnal, scrutinizing, condemning and accusing each other of imagined sin. We must come together for His Kingdom’s purpose, in unity of Love.

The commandments are our marching orders respectively. When we seriously love God with all our hearts, minds and souls, we will automatically love others! Jesus last commission before He went to be with the Father was make disciples of all men. preach the Gospel to the ends of the earth. Jesus loved people and He wept to see people in bondage and suffering. His mission was for all to come into repentance to taste of His goodness and be transformed.

When judgment hits us, pastors, prophets and leaders will ask, “How have we robbed God, or how we been disobedient?”

We have not followed the commandments. we have not loved our neighbor as ourselves. The greatest disobedience is not putting God first over everything in our lives, along with not making soul-sinning a priority. Thus, we do not seriously love God or our neighbor! People mistaking frenzied church activity as God-service, but it is not.

Two scriptures stand out in my heart as being obedient..very simple

James 1:27
Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

Micah 6:8
8 He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you, But to do justly, To love mercy,And to walk humbly with your God?

As God’s judgement swiftly approaches, millions of lives will be lost in the great coming earthquakes, plagues, civil war, drought and floods. I wonder how any Child of God is not urgent and wanting to let the people know that He is their refuge and provision when the government won’t be able to fulfill the need for food, clothing & shelter. Masses will be hungry, wounded and fearful when they see things they though could only be seen in the worse science fiction movie.

Now is the time to reach out to those in the nursing homes, prisons, street corners, even those in your own neighborhood. Make yourself useful and be about Father’s business. Go out and evangelize with whatever means you have. Some are waiting for God to give them a sign or for His audible voice Just do it. You don’t need “marching orders”from God or permission. Just go out. Too many people are legalistic, afraid of making a mistake. Sharing the Gospel with anyone is never a mistake. It’s everyone’s duty to participate in the great “commission”. When the concern for eternal destinies become so urgent where we are compelled to heal, comfort and deliver, God is pleased. Don’t let anyone condemn you for being a “soul winner” and be excited to give a testimony of what God did!

Father God has indeed allowed us a little window of time and is holding back the judgment for us to touch a few more souls. Pastors, please teach your flock that we are God’s temple. We are His hands and heart. Let’s get back to basics, to love what God loves, to hate what God hates and to weep at what God weeps at. I pray that today, Holy Spirit will well inside of you and you would take the initiative to “Love” in these last days.

Let’s take a refresher course in LOVE 101!, 1 Corinthians 13

If I speak in the tongues[a] of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast,[b] but do not have love, I gain nothing.

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. 12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
Time is short..

Love seriously…Just do it!
