GROWING in EXCELLENCE

serenity prayer

I was pondering the rising incidence of violence, senseless murder, rioting and the present tendency to focus on negativity and hopelessness. It really troubles me that in spite of all our modern technology,  endless supply and choices of supplies, merchandise, food and modern conveniences, many of us Americans are still a miserable and unsatisfied bunch.  There are exceptions of course and we all do know people who greatly and positively influence their circle or community.

As a journalist, songwriter , artists and mentor, I take no greater delight than in seeing others flower and produce beautiful fruit! Many of us artists can be overly sensitive and prone to self-pity when hit by crushing trials or challenges, (like the deaths of loved ones and pets, loss of a job-career  or a catastrophic illness)  which greatly curtails and derails the path of our lives. I understand all these detours very well, having had  more than my share of difficult  seasons.  For many of us,  difficulties have stunted and left  us spinning our  wheels in neutral indefinitely, but for others,  we stay on course, focused on  our (and others) upward momentum of excellence.

As I thought about the futility, (and the sad waste of human intelligence)  of traversing the lower road of emotional stagnancy, bitterness and toxicity, I deem this blog to be of great necessity for many. I believe cultivating an excellent mindset is of great benefit to the world.. This article will be a but shorter than my usual blog posts  what award-winning anther, Travis Bradvbury’s article says about our brain-potential , 18 Signs You Have High Emotional Intelligence is so comprehensive an enlightening! Check out his article:

18 Signs You Have High Emotional Intelligence

I’m presently going through storms of very difficult relationship issues following the passing of my mother and the estrangement of a cherished  near-relative and it again causes me to soul-search ways that I can navigate and grow from this heartbreak of loss, disappointment and rejection. I want to say that I am confident that my faith in God and His kindness to me causes me to use my experiences and victories over depression to help others to become excellent and fruitful people and  encourage them to mentor others who have trouble navigating difficult relationships and  traumatic life events!. I’d applied one of my favorite Bible scriptures to my lifestyle, remembering to get out of myself and not focus on my selfish ambition or empty pride and to humble myself , considering others more important than myself. Phil 2 3&4 We all need to try to not focus  on our own interests all the time,  but to show interest in the interests of others. This is not easy to do for most of us, but is a skill and edifying trait which can be cultivated.

We would expects leaders or religious mentors to have the gift of edifying and encouragement , but this is not always the case. Many are  stressed-out and focused on their own endeavors. and some are even narcissistic.  I would just like the end this article with saying that mentoring, encouraging and building up broken people has been the most precious and gratifying  job I could be privileged to have! From my very early days in the 1980’s , as a young woman immersed in nursing home ministry , to prison ministry, to serving battered and dislocated women with Love in the name of Christ non-profit, to presently mentoring Lyme Disease and Dystonia sufferers, there is no greater love or joy than building up others. Empowering others strengthens families, our communities and our nation.

We must try to address the issues of suicide, mental illness, family estrangement and anarchy by prayer, unified outreach and especially asking God His wisdom to wrong the rights of this world. We will not see positive change in our families, communities and nation if we continue to relentlessly chase our own dreams with out  any interest or thought to intervene and help others when and if we can. I hope  Travis’s insightful article prompts you to a new level of high emotion intelligence and I know if more of us embrace some of the tributes, we will so enhance and build upon positively the atmosphere of our world!

THE DOOR

Jesus at the door

We buried my mother, Helga, this past Saturday at Ely Funeral home, Neptune, NJ.  She passed away at her abode, Concord   Rehabilitation center, June 25, 2019 from over four years of Dementia symptoms  It became harder and harder to see my mother so diminish each time my husband, Mark and I visited her. Tears would start to well in my eyes and I had stop and take a deep breath, aching Holy Spirit to strengthen me. My anointed Taylor guitar in hand and Father’s ministering angels surrounding  us in her room, I started to sing beloved healing hymns of faith.  As I leaned heavily on Jesus, I felt peace come over me and started to prophecy in song about mom’s deliverance, healing and  emancipation from the foreboding WWII and Nazi memories of Germany. For too long those ghosts smothered my mother and Mark and I were not about to let her go into eternity without Christ’s covering.

It was  a devastating burden to to see  vicious and merciless Dementia rob my mother of her mind and body. When I received the call from my mother’s social worker and I shared the news with my closest intercessor sisters , I immediately felt strengthened as they spoke courage, strength and peace over my three sisters and I.

Mom’s burial was a very private affair with only my 2 sisters, my aunt, cousin, niece and a handful of long-time family friends.

THE DOOR

Our gathering here today is not only to pay last respects and bid farewell to my mother, Helga Stenzil Ferrer, but also to give credence and glory to Almighty God for the opportunity to enter the door of eternal life and salvation in Christ Yashuah.  I wish to share with you the channels, starting from my girlhood to my mother’s passing, and how it can affect your life today and your own eternal destiny.

I discovered as a teenager that I was a non‑conformist. Never one to embrace legalistic tradition and religion, my spiritual probing always brought me to the edges of radical faith. A deeply introspective and sensitive girl, I found it hard to connect with both of my parents. I kept a diary where I was able to explore my thoughts without condemnation and ponder what my life would be if my family lived peacefully and lovingly with each other.

The day after mom’s death, a dam of countless sorrowful and unresolved events spewed forth, in particular the senseless way both my father and mother died. I’m sure some of you may have felt the weight upon the loss of a cherished loved one. You found yourself suddenly thrown into the reality of burial and funeral details. Mark and I have had our share of funerals and the burying of beloved pets. The recent loss of our beloved Tabby, Bikini drew me directly into God’s perspective, a divine revelation about the brevity of life. From this revelation came my blog, Teach Us to Number Our Days, Moses Psalm 90. How accurately Moses portrayed the brevity of our lives as he cried to God for wisdom to live life intimately with God.

And so, as I prepare for my Mother’s farewell and grieve for what could have been, God impresses me to meditate on John 10:9.  Jesus said “I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and go in and out and find pasture”.

We’ve all heard about stories of girls and women caught in terrible events and left vulnerable and exposed. My mother, my sisters and I, (as well as innumerable girls and young women worldwide) bear the scars of rejection, abandonment and abuse‑neglect.  I’ve encountered many women in crisis during my mentoring tenure at Love Inc ,Christian non-profit ministry and understand their feelings of fear, isolation and hopelessness. Without a safe haven, and stability, there is no way to survive and move forward.  There were no doors of safety open for these victims. Statistics rise regarding suicides, nervous breakdowns domestic abuse and/or murder by husband. I am one of the blessed ones who had the sense to use the shreds of sense I had left, (after so many traumatic events) to make the wisest choice I could ever make …to ask for and enter Jesus door!

If only my mother Helga had the joy and relief to enter Jesus’ door. Difficulties abounded for her to the very end, but Mark and I are humbled and grateful to have the privilege of ministering to her through intercession and remission of her sins. We trusted that Father God, in His mercy would redeem her soul. We cried, asking Father to deploy battalions off warring and ministry angels to shatter the demonic bondage that threatened to keep her from eternal life in heaven. We believe Father heard our earnest supplication, for our battle for our loved ones souls is not tangible and earthly, but a spiritual battle. Eph 6:12

Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life” and there is no way we can ever enter heaven without his shed blood as our redemption. Mark and I know that we (and all persons) ,will give an account of our words and deeds during our lives. At the Bema (judgement) seat, Christ will be our judge. At the White Throne judgement, those who refused to accept and live for Christ will be judged and cast into hell for eternity.

Some may protest. “I’ve never killed anyone or robbed a bank”. But I tell you, none can enter Christ’s door, neither by the Catholic sacraments of baptism, confession or the Eucharist. You cannot enter His door through your good works, charitable donations and the sign of the cross, nor attending Bible studies or even reading the Bible.  Our very words and actions bear witness to whether we bear good fruits or evil fruits. Life and death is in the power of our tongues and our words set the atmosphere of our lives   and even affects those near and distant! Rest assured, we will give an account, 2 Cor 5:10

Galatians 5:22 clearly lists the beautiful and gracious fruits of the spirit, love joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self‑control. And of cruse, Galatians 5:19 describes the bad as sexual immorality, impurity, debauchery, idolatry, witchcraft,, hared, discord, jealousy,, fits of range, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions, envy and drunkenness. And let us not forget Jesus commandment of forgiveness in the Our Father prayer. The sin of unforgiveness opens the demonic door to strongholds of resentment and bitterness which has destroyed many marriages and families. Be of good cheer, for the nitty‑gritty sins and strongholds of our souls and family bloodlines have already been cleansed when we appropriate Christ’s, blood to our lives and families. Christ is the all‑sufficient sacrifice for our lives, health and wellness.

Jesus Christ, Yashuah HaMashiach, is the only way the truth and the life. He is also the resurrections, the bread and the door. If curses, bad fortune and sorrow has been a part of your life, bring them to the cross and ask Christ into your life to cleanse and redeem you from your past and your families’ tainted bloodlines. That door to  supernatural healing and peace is available right now today, if you ask Him!

FROM the PIT to PALACE

from the pit to the palce

The Called, Pioneers of Destiny

My Pastor’s message at our home worship service came from Genesis Chapter 42 to the end. Joseph, the bragging dreamer, was elevated to the second highest position in Egypt under the Pharaoh. I’d read and reread Joseph’s challenging journey from the pit, to the prison…to the palace. many times. This Sundays’ sermon visitation to Joseph’s amazing story by my enthusiastic Pastor Sandra, reminded me of God’s greatness, sovereignty and mercy to his people.

Sunday’s lesson came all together as my intercessor sisters and I were praying about the suffering and hardship of the mothers and their children trekking in the Caravan line to the United States. A few prayers were compassionately wept, but God was reminding me of a vision He first implanted in my heart as a second year student at Brookdale College in 1987. I was vivacious and full of creativity, especially in my creative writing, graphic design, photography and painting classes. Mr. Scholl, our graphic design instructor, had us design a logo for our dream company. Immediately, images of a sprawling campus, with dormitories, classrooms, training areas, child care rooms and auditoriums came to my mind. I envisioned, homeless people, handicapped, single, welfare moms, dislocated homemakers and veterans being taught life and vocational skills. The anointed Christian teachers and counselors were breathing life into the almost dead ashes of countless lives. They were well-rounded, highly skilled and influential in their perspective fields and were impassioned to pass it forward to broken and destitute people. They didn’t possess pride or the spirit of Mammon, (the love of money). They had also suffered great hardships themselves: physical infirmities and tragedies. For such a time as this, Jehovah Raphha and Jehovah Jireh himself would heal, deliver and prosper these individuals.

My vocation center, AVO, (Artistic Vocations Operations), would encourage anyone with a dream or vision to enroll and participate to a Clearing house-type vetting system to be interviewed for placements and needs.

This first wonderful vision stayed in my heart while I was working towards earning my degree at Brookdale and even until after graduation. This dream stayed afresh while I fronted my first Christian band, The Promise, with Chris Durante, our lead guitarist. We were on fire for the Lord Jesus after seeing so many inmates receive Christ and became transformed right in prison. I knew this was what I loved to do. We were being invited to many NJ correctional facilities and maximum security prisons. Our invitations grew from chaplains who wanted their men to hear my testimony about the new life in Christ.

My dreams for life-transforming ministry abruptly came to a halt, when one day, I felt dizzy and my heart was violently palpitating. I was very scared, waiting to hear the results of my tests. I had Lyme disease and I was thrown in a sudden battle for my very life. That long battle turned into Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, which then turned into Candida and a near-death encounter with Carbon Monoxide poisoning, all within two years. My body and life was falling apart and with it my dreams for ministering for the Lord.

The staggering fatigue, extreme weakness and constant bronchial infections kept me tethered to deep depression and hopelessness. But God had not forgotten me. One day, one of my best childhood girlfriends called me and asked me if I’d like to go back to work part-time. Diana knew I was very weak, but she was serving part-time also with a Christian non-profit, Love in the Name of Christ. I felt impressed to call for an interview, even though I felt that it would probably be a waste of time. I felt revived and decided to test God at His word, that He was my provider.

Diana’s prayers worked because I had an interview! All I had for an interview suit was one suit I wore to work many years ago as a salesgirl at a fashion store at a the local mall. It was in decent shape and I arrived at the Love Inc headquarters positive and hopeful. I was greeted and interviewed by a gracious matron, Operations Manager, Joan Hodum and Executive Director, Carolyn Eyerman. Surprisingly, Joan was very interested hearing about my early years of nursing home and prison ministry. She also liked my suit! As they stood up to thank me for my time and shake my hand, I knew I had the position. Carolyn called me the very next day and asked me if I could start next week. Joan and she had discussed ideas for a special program to prepare welfare moms leaving welfare for the workplace. I would be mentoring them in business etiquette, resume and I would be running a boutique of beautiful, lightly used business clothing. That vision God gave me in graphic design class started to rise. I was excited.

So began my tenure as program coordinator for my business outreach, Just the Right Touch.  My hiring into this wonderful Christian organization brought me into fellowship with staff from all denominations and professional backgrounds. I was part of a family again and was overjoyed to be part of a God-ordained people-serving entity. The staff, all much older than me, treated me as a daughter and guided me in my new orientation. I loved helping to build up the broken spirits of the young women who came to my program and boutique. They were so excited to apply for jobs in beautiful, professional clothing and have a professional looking resume to hand to their prospective new employer.

I was greatly disappointed when Social Services no longer sent referred women to my business boutique and Love Inc’s board urged Carolyn to have me close shop because clients were not being served. I was very disappointed, but thankful that at least I had acquired years of solid experience, ministering and mentoring young women! I thought of God’s grace and mercy during my years of struggling with Lyme, Disease, suffering from abandonment and divorce and being unemployed for many long months, God was indeed honing me for an amazing destiny which I still didn’t know

In 2016, I was thrust into another unexpected ministry, intercession. My spiritual sister, Donna, who loved to pray, called me one day to give me the number of an intercessory pray conference line. This group, was a passionate group of men and women who felt called to pray for the elections, our next president and our nation. I had been involved with my church’s prayer group in the past, but this groups seemed to have an extraordinary unction to pray with anointing and spiritual authority. I listened first, (as a student of intercessory prayer) and then joined my prayer as my spiritual confidence rose. I was learning to overcome and take authority over the many negative forces in my life. These confident praying led to more intimacy with my Heavenly Father and Jesus and I began to believe that that same authority was to be applied to the lives of my family and friends for their healing and deliverance in my family’s’ and my life!

On the 24/7 NSCP, National Strategic Conference Prayer network, led by Pastor Ioan Piea and Maureen Bravo, we have had to address innumerable national, and global crisis, emergencies, family problems and even testimonies of answered prayers and miracles. Many, included deluded Christian brethren have been opposing and condemning President Trump’s assessment and solutions to the Caravan, to our southern border. As Christians, we are commended to provide for the widows, orphans, sick, the elderly and impoverished, but we must make sure that they indeed are in need. Too many impostors are here to cause chaos and they are overwhelming our border patrol. This is a serious threat to the safety and security of American citizens.

Many Christian and non-profit organizations are stepping in minister to the needy, but the body of Christ must prayerfully seek God’s wisdom and revelation for those who do manage to stay here and how to assure that they will assimilate into our culture and truly transition into Christ-like productivity and success.

Joseph’s story is an example of one impoverished young man who became the salvation of nations. I believe that many intercessors in our group and around the nation, who are fledgling leaders, now being being groomed and honed….for such a time as this!  The Bible doesn’t say if there were threads of national rioting or revolution, but it does say that innumerable lives were saved because of Joseph’s wisdom. For such a time as this, God brought Donald J. trump as the church’s Cyrus, to bring back righteousness and some semblance of order to America.  As the body of Christ faces this quagmire, we can be assured that if we abide in His presence and keep His precepts and commandments, He will be faithful.

Love in the Name of Christ’s mission statement could be a apt template a solution to the Caravan dilemma. Different denominations and Christian non-profit groups unite and mobilize under one umbrella. The needs of the beneficiaries would be assessed through an application process via a “Clearing House” process

Addressing the dilemma of the Caravan scenario entails the supernatural wisdom of God’s Holy Spirit. The spiritual leaders of Christ’s body need to discern the true needy ones from the malevolent impostors who seek to overrun our nation. President Trump’s greatest concern is to keep us safe. He knows the world is watching to see if we truly are the Christian nation he declares us to be.

iFrom the pit

This past week, I remembered how the Bible speaks of how building strong alliances that are unified in God’s will and anointing is the answer to all dilemmas and especially the present  caravan issue. If not addressed properly with a strategic plan, the truly needy may fall through the cracks. At Brookdale College, I foresaw these types of crisis and so envisioned my future ministry, Artistic Vocations Operations, AVO, would provide appropriate services and establish many. God’s children know that in Christ, all things are possible. I’ve never once doubted that my vision at Brookdale College was far-fetched. If God brought Andrew Wommack’s amazing vision, in Colorado, God could certainly bring Anita Ferrer’s vision!

Many of us have gotten lazy regarding facing and felling our giants. We allow fear to cripple us and then we get so overwhelmed that we give up. The Caravan crisis is nothing more daunting than Joshua and Caleb declaring, “We are well able to take the city.” Indeed, the church is more than able to confront the Caravan crisis and all that come our way. We, (the full body of Christ, in all our branches and denominations) just need to unite as one, as an alliance, so to speak. Lone rangers are always vulnerable and soon get attacked and conquered.

It may seem that darkness is spreading like an ominous canopy over the nations, with lluminati billionaires, CEO’s and music mogul, raking in unspeakable profits. There is no longer  a clear division between the righteous and the ungodly. The lines have blurred as even Christian record labels have sold out to secular labels. The principality of Mammon has tainted the lives of mega-church pastors who splurge on jet planes, multiple mansions and vintage cars. Our own veterans lie in gutters, forgotten. Other millions in third-world nation exist in squalid filth. Something has to give.

Let us see that God has given us a gracious reprieve with our president, a modern-day Joseph or Esther to stand up boldly and bring about a reformation for our badly damaged nation. May all the brothers and sisters in Christ unite to become that city on a hill and be that light to the nations  Let us aspire to be the top of the crop, in medicine, science, entertainment, fashion, health,-agriculture, the media and the financial arena, not Amazon, Google and Facebook. We are the head and not the tail.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, we ask you to seek your wisdom so that Holy Spirit can convict us of our deception and error.  Help us to love each other, as Christ loved us and to unite in agreement, for that’s where our strength lies! We can fell the Goliath liberalism, mammon, abortion and rebellion, but first we must repent, renounce and turn your way. Help us to walk in holiness and as pleasing to you, for your ways are not our ways and your thoughts are not ours! In Jesus’ name amen.

MOVING FORWARD

MOVING FORWARD From Offenses and Woundings

For many of us, conflict and strife are two of the most difficult areas to address. The inability to confidently address criticism and conflict  stifles our ability to soar upward into our divine fullness. The book of Proverbs is chock full of warnings to be cautious in our communication. Being slow to speak and waiting for divine wisdom for understanding has been challenging for me. I grew up in a family atmosphere of intense conflict between my German mother and Puerto-Rican father, whose relationship started to weaken when my father took on great responsibilities as the vice president of the Spanish Fraternity. His time and financial investments to the Spanish Community were straining our family and mom and dad argued constantly. I was very sensitive as a young girl and my parents arguing was very distressing for me. I also had to endure my mother’s temper tantrums where she regularly overturned the furniture, tore apart everything in my two younger sisters’ rooms and gave them beatings. This abusive environment of fear and anger became of stronghold in me. I was terrified of angry, mean people. At the first sign of a negative body language or facial expression, my stomach would turn and I became nauseous. I must admit,  my communication  style was challenged because of my nervousness in the presence of angry people.  This stronghold intensified during my first marriage where I endured domestic violence.  My fear to express disatisfaction or  uphold my boundaries  was firmly established. and my husband’s rage when I stated my opiinion caused me to keep m mouth shut because I didn’t want to be attacked.

We’ve all suffered rejection, abandonment and/or abuse and the extent of our spiritual growth-healing depends on our willingness to allow Christ to heal the deeply-embedded, negative strongholds of our mind and soul. In my life as a creative person,  (many artists, musicians and people in creative fields) feel a need to escape the sordid aspects of reality. Non creative people can also seek refuge in certain comforts such as sports, drugs, alcohol, shopping, food addictions and pornography. This is natural for us to feel safe from excruciating mental anguish or a sexual trauma such as molestation or rape. Those of us from extremely abusive backgrounds believe that the only way to cope with our painful past is to find refuge in the beauty and wonder of our creative endeavors and projects. Success in our careers and creativity is a good thing, but staying stuck in the plateau of woundedness and the trauma is not.

For me it has been a very long and painful road to spiritual freedom and joy because there were few intuitive and anointed pastors and/or deliverance counselors who could help me accurately identify negative strongholds. Even less to find are those who willingly guide a wounded individual to Christ’s wholeness. With the kingdom of hell becoming more aggressive than ever before, (satan knows his time is very short). God’s people are getting a triple dose of attacks in every area of life. It’s rare for any child of God not to be suffering some attack. Strife and division seems to be the main area satan has been using to create division and weakness in the body of Christ. The way around this is continual time in God’s presence, repentance and being accountable to elders.

The law of Love

1 Cor. 13 4-8 is really the formula which builds and strengthens the body, but often harder than it seems. Agape love allows no pride and convicts us when refuse to be wrong. We say, “Why should I acquiesce to him/her?” The spirit of offense is strong and often uses the element of surprise. You’re caught off guard when he strikes and you’re trembling in anger. Offense must be taken captive by Christ’s authority.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.

A fellow intercessor sister and I were praying about how to address various weak areas our brthren needed to address. I told her how disappointed II was about several incidents which occurred with very dear and mature prophetic Christian sisters in my circle. Each incident involved a disagreement where both parties responded in quick anger. There was no resolution and the two decided not to bother with each other again. This breaking of relationship and avoiding each other disturbs me and disturbs the delicate atmosphere of unity in God’s family. We may glibly disregard our decision to break relationship with a brother or sister, but that small offense breaches the circle of love. We may not immediately feel or see the sting of offense-rejection, but it’s seed  takes root nonetheless and it opens the door to other demonic strongholds.

Pastor Derrik Prince teaches how just one rejection can swing open a door allowing other demonic stronghold to take root. This is why repentance is so necessary. When we are unified in love, we operate in great power and achieve God’s greatest miracles, healing and deliverance. When we have disagreements so sharp that we cut off the relationship and go on our merry way, we lose the opportunity to grow in the area of resolving conflict. We are as iron sharpening iron and Father is pleased when we conquer that pride spirit and seek reconciliation and resolution. With God all things are possible and when we come together in prayer, with the intention of resolving and unifying, we will be building bridges and healing wounded or misunderstood hearts.

Let us never forget that satan is cunning and has studied mankind for eons. He knows exactly how to s get a toehold in even the most well-intentioned. Conquering offense can often be difficult for people raised in angry, alcoholic and dysfunctional backgrounds. They often have deep-rooted strongholds of unworthiness and inferiority. Their mothers may have scorned, “You’re no good” or “You’ll never amount to anything.” If these declarations are not renounced and broken off, those voices will continue to harass and maim. The child will grow up to be an adult who is fearful of constructive criticism of any kind. When questioned, they respond immediately with raised dukes to fend imagined, crippling blows to their fragile self-worth. Those voices taunt incessantly, threatening their marriage and/or family. These negative accusing voices come from the pits of hell.  Strongholds of rejection and unworthiness can only be banished by daily meditating and declaring God’s truth about His precious children  who are created to do good works!

Learn to address feelings of shame, anxiety and/or unworthiness with God’s word. For those of us who have been raised in abuse and unhealthy homes, we must make wholeness and God’s word a priority. Healing from unhealthy influences may need help from strong, positive mentors. Learn not to be ashamed and defensive when questioned or criticized. Learn to recognize pride when he it rises up. Pride separates, but love unites. Don’t let pride bar us from admitting we don’t have all the answers or we made a mistake. Be sensitive to Holy  Spirit’s nudge when ou quickly  respondi inappropriately, angrilly or with unwaranted suspicion. Give people the benefit of the doubt that they are not always out to get you.

Repentance (humility) are not dirty words and we should never be ashamed to get on our faces, cry out in deep humility and ask Father to reveal our shortcomings. Repentance is cleansing and we grow in His grace when we are transparent. In one of my group prayer battalions, we start out our conference call with confessing our sins and weaknesses to each other.  This was a new thing to me, but found after a few weeks, how it draew my sisters and I closer together and made us more compassionate and prayerful for each other!

Repentance should be as natural as doing a detox or fast for our physical bodies. When we cleanse our body through daily repenting, we do not hinder the flow of Holy Spirit or block Him from blessing us with His conviction and gracious deliverance! My prayer for the body of Christ, is that we work on being transparent and honest with each other. Sin and iniquities root and flourish when we keep our sins and weaknesses hidden. The Bible says we are to confess our sins and weaknesses with each other daily.  All too often,  I see and hear about episodes where our Christian brethren display rage and  are vindictive on Facebook and other public forums. This is a very poor witness to non-believers and grieves our heavenly Father. Especially damaging is strife and division about political issues and gossip. A wise, gracious person would have nothing to do with strife because it weakens the bond of fellowship. We need to share our views respectfully and if the disagreement is too intense, then we must agree to disagree and avoid the subject for the sake of peace.

Brothers and sisters, we need to get it together because we are in the end of the end times and time is short. The eternal destinies of millions are at the precipice of decision and our demeanor must be Christ-alluring, a fragrance in the stench of pride and worldliness. When we are dedicated to unity in our King Jesus, satan cannot get a toehold. Pride in us is insidious and let us remember that it sneaks up even in the best of us. Let us not be afraid to be wrong or uniformed and let us ask God for HIs divine wisdom!

PRAYER, The Double-Edged Sword

Michael teh Archangel defaring satan-1

Note This article is not for scoffers, mockers and those who disbelieve there is a God, a devil and demonic spirits roaming and destroying mankind. This expository will elaborate on the efficacy of focused and deliberate prayer, coupled with steadfast faith. If you are born-again in Christ, you need to consider this teaching.

Let’s start at the beginning,
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  John 3:16

When Adam and Eve committed the first sin, by eating of the fruit of the tree of good and evil, they literally handed their dominion over the earth to satan, (Lucifer). Our parents’ sin catapulted all humanity into chaos, separation from our heavenly Father and spiritual death. Despite the devastating consequences, we know that God had a plan to bring his creation back to Himself, by sending His own perfect, Son, Jesus the Christ, to be the sacrificial lamb of cleansing, resurrection and communion. The greatest act which happened to all mankind was Jesus’ victorious resurrection and His redeeming us back to our Father God!. This is the glory of those born-again in Christ! We are now adopted into Christ’s glorious heritage and family and are co-inheritors of all God”s blessings and provisions. This is indeed something we can celebrate and teach others about.  Right now,  Abba  God ( Daddy, in Aramaic)  awaits as many of His sons and daughters to come home to enjoy intimacy through Jesus.

So here we are, many thousands of years after Jesus’ resurrection and victorious dominion over sin,  death and eternal separation from our Heavenly Father . Many have come to the cross, and have come home, but still, innumerable others have chosen to deny God’s precious gift of salvation and communion with God,  Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit. God has blessed His children with a vehicle, prayer

The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. James 5:16

This scripture doesn’t say the prayers of just any person. He can call himself a Christian, be of a certain denomination or a particular church prays with insincere motives and who really doesn’t seek God’s face. Jesus blasted many of the Pharisee because their prayers were, e lengthy and pious but their hearts were far from God. In many places in the Bible, God tells us to be diligent when we seek Him. God was very particular about communion with him

But from there you will search again for the LORD your God. And if you search for him with all your heart and soul, you will find him. Duet 4:29. Part of growing in our intimacy with God is regularly taking an honest spiritual inventory of our spiritual journey and ask ourselves, “Am I sincerely connecting with Abba’s heart?”

Often, when I approach Abba in my prayer closet, I think to myself, “I don’t feel anything. I don’t believe Father is listening and I feel like a hypocrite or automaton.” When I feel very distant from Father, I back off and come back later when I can focus. I cannot bear to come into His presence with hypocrisy or feeling detached. For may of us, we often feel God is far away, but He will draw near if we sincerely seek His precious face! So often,  because of this movement neurological battle I endure, I cannot connect. Here is where Holy Spirit is always willing to help. I must be honest, without Holy Spirit’s help I could not abide in intimate communion with Abba or be able to even compose a blog  such as this.

Jesus promised us that when He left, he wouldn’t leave us as orphans. He would send the comforter. But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. John 14:26. .
Prayer then, coupled with Holy Spirit’s revelatory unction is God’ channel of intimate communion with his sons and daughters.

I accepted Christ in 1983 and have been part of many Pentecostal, charismatic and Assembly of God church families where I learned the basics. Because of lack of information and deep, Holy Spirit revelation and anointing, I struggled with persistent health issues and the many traumatic events of my life. I was not defeated but I was not victoriously overcoming as my Bible and scriptures promised. I knew something was missing. Something was wrong and I continued to cry out and ask God for divine help!. I was always a woman of prayer and was committed to pray, but I lacked a major component: fellowship with other like-minded, anointed and spirit-filled prayer warriors! Spirit-filled here is the key to a vigorous and victorious prayer life and faith journey. Without the power of the third person of the triune Godhead, we really are helpless and fruitless!

Fast forward 30 years from 1983, my faith journey prayer life and intercessory prowess grows by leaps and bounds. Because of my persistent, asking, seeking and knocking,  I  weekly learn miraculous and divine things from Pastor Augusto’s ministry, The Appearance, Pastor Sandra Gonzalez, Spirit-Filled Life Ministries and the anointed 24/7 NSCP national  intercessor phone conference line group, led my Pastor Eon Peia and Mother Maureen Bravo. These past several years I’vbe experienced the tremendous efficacy of prayer. It is powerful when we pay passionately and with authority to our Heavenly Father who awaits us in the great throne room of grace and power!

How prayer works:

The most successful prayers are heart-felt, nurtured in a intimate relationship with God.’ Although Father can and will hear and answer prayers from new believers
God’s angelic host can be dispatched to help when we ask God in prayer for their help. Psalm 91:11 NLT

God’s word, the Holy scriptures, are powerful. They are able to cut through Satan’s curses, assignments and attacks.. When we fervently believe, we  accept hat power or it won’t manifest! Jesus told us that Father would answer our prayers. You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. John 14:13

Prayer is intensified when joined by other like-minded, spirit-filled believers.

Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. Heb 10:25

I cannot stress enough how crucial it is abide within a group of anointed believers. It is beneficial to find a good church where the gifts of the spirit manifest and unfortunately, these powerful, spirit-filled churches are few. How do you know if the church or group is anointed and spirit-filled? You examine the fruits. Are they full of the love and power of Holy Spirit? For some of us, the process of examining fruits may be a lengthy process, but if we ask the Holy Spirit, He will reveal and guide us into all wisdom and revelation. We must also be wary of churches or groups, (cults) which manifest signs and wonders., but which are copied by satan).  Satan is very powerful and can try to imitate the work of the Holy Spirit. Examine the fruit, whether it is good or bad!  We must ask Holy Spirit for discernment

God performs His word when we declare them in faith!

The LORD said to me,  (Jeremiah) “You have seen correctly, for I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled. Jer. 1:2 NIV

Pastor Derrik Prince has a wonderful video on Declaring God’s word. He knows firsthand how to demolish the satanic stronghold on this earth. God’s word is our sledgehammer and our double-edged sword. .

The Power of Proclamation, Derrik Prince

Applying the Blood of Jesus to our prayers, loved ones and everyone in our circle of contact

Teacher-Prophetess Billye Brim teaches on the power of Jesus blood.

Our responsibility should be to passionately explore the whole gamut of the spiritual realm and apply its precepts and protocol to our daily lives. Only by focused, relentless and courageous effort will we be able to thrive in the hostile spiritual atmosphere we abide in at present. Everyday, countless millions are hindered, tormented and/or killed by demonic spirits and the battle becomes even more daunting as more evil spirits are released from the abyss. Now is not the time for God’s people to relax or turn their backs on God. The lives of our relatives, co-workers, neighbors and everyone we rub shoulders with, depend on our Spirit-anointed prayers and intercessions.

Pastor John Eckert’s powerful declaration video speaks all about God’s miraculous Exousia and Dunamis power!! This video will change your life.

If you are to survive the ever-brutal and worsening darkness, you need to diligently apply spiritual warfare disciplines. Nothing can separate us and we overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. Remember, you have all authority and satan and his demons are under your feet! \

God bless you, courageous warrior of teh most high God, Jehovah Sabaoth!!v

NEAR to the BROKEN-HEARTED

stc-l-kgmonarch-0802-03

The weight was becoming so crushing that Barbara could barely  breath

I got off of my tread mill, at the telephones’ ringing and heard my precious sister Barbara’s voice, weak with grief.  She was grieving for her son, Adam and it was a very difficult time for her. I was grateful to be  available for her and listened as she poured out her heart to me. Feelings of protectiveness came over me like a mother bear seeing her cub being threatened.  I knew the enmey was trying to drag her backwards into the depths of bondage.  I waited for Holy Spirit to download instruction on how to minister to her.

I felt a very heavy burden of anguish and then I asked her to rest and be still because I was going to release a song over her. The inspiration of lyrics came to me the past Saturday because of a burden for my three younger sisters who were are battling weights from their past. As I was checking my emails, I saw a dear prophetic brother who wrote that Holy Spirit had told him I was going to write another song. I grabbed my pen and within 5 minutes I wrote  “Enter My Rest” Holy Spirit reminded me  of  Hebrews 4:11Let us therefore strive to enter into His rest.

I could feel a spiritual tug of war going on with Barbra, but I told her I felt to sing Shalom over her. the new song,  Enter my Rest and Beautiful Daughter. Holy Spirit was showing me that Abba wanted her to  let go of all the weights..and rest in him. Then He showed me a performance anxiety spirit was pulling her. So we prayed together against the spirit.    I saw that we indeed were in a tug of war. Yashuah Jesus, Barbara and I were on one side of the  rope and the  demonic spirits at the other end. We continued to pray and we took authority over the spirits. .

As we were waging warfare,  standing firm, we felt the noose was loosening. Barbara prayed and then started singing Hallelujah, we sing hallelujah. I joined in and we were singeing prophetically.

hallelujah. We sing hallelujah,  We sing hallelujah to our King

You release us to the skies, cause we are butterflies.

We are soaring into glory.. He releases us into the skies

We soar on weightless wings and look into our Father eyes,

All of a sudden, Barbara laughed and she was light with exhilaration. Father helped her to break through. It was so delightful, she suddenly burst out that she saw a vision of millions of Monarch butterflies being released. WOW! was all I could say!

Truly, Barbara’s received a glorious breakthrough and fresh  anointing of her ability to see visions. We were enthralled at the fresh unction of confidence and strength Father had given her and we marveled at how Father is so near His children when they are broken-hearted.

During my prayer over Barbara, I also  reminded her  that Yashuah had already set a banquet table for us to dine on His exquisite delicacies of mercy and grace, among many others.  Though He invites us and often we come in shabby clothes and   broken as paupers, he garbs us in  pure white wedding gowns, spotless in His blood.  Sister Barbara and all my precious brothers and sisters, let us fall back into His hammock of love after you have confessed your sins and weaknesses! Release and rest!

“Enter My Rest” Holy Spirit reminds us in  Hebrews 4:11.  Let us therefore strive to enter into His rest. For some of us, we may need to ask God’s help to discipline ourselves from the stringent bondage of work and striving. God is faithful..He hears our cries and will surely help!

Are You THIRSTING?

 Isaiah 55:1
Is anyone thirsty? Come and drink–even if you have no money! Come, take your choice of wine or milk–it’s all free!

When I was a very young believer, fronting our Christian hard rock band, The Promise with my then boyfriend, lead guitarist, Chris, Isaiah’s words leaped at my heart. The call was so compelling that we wrote “Are  You Thirsting” for our band repertoire’s opening call.

Many today are thirsting and many others do not even realize their  frenzied searching for truth and dabbling in the occult is a cry for truth. My prayer is that the compelling videos included here in my blog today  will be the answer you are searching for. I especially challenge my Jewish brothers and sisters to look up in your prayer time and ask Father Jehovah to reveal the truth once and for all.

In these last days,  God’s Clarion call rings out to all across the globe.
May these wonderful videos move your heart  that Jesus Yashiach  HaMaschiah is the risen and glorious son of the most high God.

Behold he is risen from the dead and has given us all the authority over satan and his  cohorts. Behold, the harvest is white for the reaping of which Father God is equipping and anointing His children to do His business. Father has given us a reprieve and we must be about our work quickly. Now is the time for salvation. Now is the appointed time for all to come to the cross. Our God has opened up the doors of hidden wisdom and revelation and His people must  take advantage and declare the way of the Lord to every people, tongue and nation. In times past, truth was sealed, but God has chosen to use modern technology to show the hard-hearted and doubtful that His Son,  has truly come and risen from the grave to give us eternal life and salvation.
Heavenly Father,  we beseech thee with broken and humble hearts.  Help us be unified, all of us  standing in the gap for the lost. Lord of heaven and earth, creator of the universe. be merciful for those who have been led astray.  bring your precious Jewish people back into Your fold, their glorious destiny. We declare open hearts and open minds to be illuminated by precious Holy Spirit, Ruach HaKodesh . We thank you for Your harvest, in Jesus name, amen.
