The Gift of Time

At the advancing of New Year’s Eve, most of us are contemplating our future or looking back at our lives through our accomplishments or unfulfilled dreams. As I was preparing for my prayer call and looking through my worship song book, I decided to play my original songs in an effort to connect deeply in praise and worship to my Father and Jesus. As I turned the pages, my eyes fell on Psalm, 91, a yet unrecorded song, composed in Monday, September 14, 2009 at 1015 am. I burst into tears. The TMJ- Dystonia nightmare had consumed much of the quality and productivity of my life. I felt deep disappointment and some resentment, thinking about how much I could have accomplished in almost nine years without the relentless hammering. I could have published books, recorded more music and visited many more nursing homes, hospitals and correctional facilities.

I’ve always been productive, creative and aspiring and at the same time, inundated with all types of health crisis. I stop myself and focus on God, the giver of time. Instinctively, I know that if I refocus, my Heavenly Father will help me resift my perceptive. He is faithful.
Each of us is given the same twenty four hours each day. We are blessed with the gift of free will to do whatever we want with those twenty-four hours. Some of us choose to sleep and surf Facebook all day. Some choose to discipline ourselves on Heavenly endeavors and some (like witches and Satanists) discipline themselves to fast and pray their evil hexes to bring their demonic assignments to fruition. I thought about Jesus telling us to occupy until I come. So why was the church having such little influence on the culture allowing sex-trafficking, materialism, suicide and coldness of hearts to become pandemic? A powerful, Holy-Spirit church should be taking the world by storm                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            Globally, huge technological advances swept gigantic corporations, like Apple, to China. Amazon and Itunes continue to take the lion’s share of profit. The Illuminati’s plans’ to “dumb down” floods the population like a Tsunami, through pharmakia (drugs), vaccines and environmental assaults like Glyphosate and fluoride. With all our spiritual power, many of our pastors and leaders should  not be burying their heads in the sand, refusing to guide their flocks regarding any of these political and frightening things! Meanwhile, a remnant of Prayer conference line warriors gather each day to oppose the giants of evil while many of us lazy, depressed ones snooze away in disinterested apathy.. Disappointingly, I’ve observed that most people on Facebook and other media sources have become copiers and followers, rather than innovators and inventors.

As a Christian original singer-songwriter, I’ve always wondered about my former bandmates and collaborators idolizing Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix Bob Marley, Eric Clapton and countless other musical influences. I learned very late in my life that many of the music icons received their inspiration\from Lucifer. Led Zeppelin is known for their satan-inspired music. I’m ashamed to admit I had my own female non-Christian influences such as Tori Amos, (who actually pledged allegiance to her lover, Lucifer), Sarah McLachlan, Joni Mitchel, Evanescence and Mariah Carey. Most of these gals all have connections with the occult/New Age. I’ve since repented and thrown out almost all of my CD collection and am about to go through my Christian music also! I  watched two videos recently that revealed the truth of Christian music’s union with ungodliness, sin and perversity. Sign the dotted line and sell your soul to satan.

I’m desiring more and more to live a pure life without any contaminants and if my music is offensive to my Father and Jesus, I’m glad to rid myself of abominations. I can’t live a double life or have allegiances with entities which are responsible for destroying our youth, marriages and families. It’s been a wakeup call to find out that people I once so respected and admired are part of a satanic group bent on destroying the planet. I cannot support their music or business. I’ve lately watched too many YouTube videos about Contemporary Christian music artists selling out to the secular, Spirit of Mammon and perversity. I wanted no part of it.
Some of the current Christian icons don’t even mention Jesus name and their lyrics are very ambiguous. You know what Jesus said if we were ashamed of Him. It’s been very disappointing, but satan indeed knows his time is very short and he has been devising even more cunning ways to get even a toe-hold in God’s children’s lives!
All of the aforementioned evils amount to the truth that many of us do not know how to number our days and walk in wisdom. We have not meditated on God’s word enough, nor have we committed His precepts to our spirits. We can only achieve wisdom through time in God’s presence. Wisdom also comes through experiencing The Holy Spirit’s fruits through nurturing one on one relationships, not through racking up friends, reposts and likes on Facebook.
Using our time (actually, it’s God’s time) wisely and mercifully manifests gifts of healing. When time is yielded to Holy Spirit, we have the victory and success where medicine, science and agriculture meet. Time is of the essence to find cures and treatments for devastating diseases. When God’s people come together in unified strength, they become the benevolent architects and builders ta o build sanctuaries where broken, poverty-stricken people can thrive and grow. Truly God has given the body all kinds of gifts for the edification of the church.

And it was He who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for works of ministry, to build up the body of Christ. for all to reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God, as we mature to the full measure of the stature of Christ.…Eph 4:11-13

Paul describes the glory of God’s people building upon the foundation of the Holy house of God, (Christ being the chief cornerstone). For or no one can lay a foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on the foundation: stones, wood, hay or straw, the workmanship will be evident, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will prove the quality of each man’s work. Time is also one of the precious substances which can be benevolent or malevolent to our fellow mankind.

See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. Eph 5 15-17
So let us live our lives deliberately, with laser focus and joyous anticipation, seeking diligently God’s succinct orders. As the new year, 2019 begins, I hope to impart to my brothers and sister the discipline of making the most of our moments, minutes, hours and days, so that when we stand before our judge, Yashuah, He will open our book of life and congratulate us for bringing forth great increase from the talents we’ve been entrusted.
Here are some ideas to get you started making the most of your time.

*         Find one or two people to mentor and build up in character
Visit a local nursing home weekly or monthly and read the Bible, chat with and pray over.                                                                                                                                *        Keep a list of bedridden or chronically ill people to send a handwritten or hand-made card to. Hand write a scripture verse.
*        Make it a habit to send a card to say how much you appreciate them and/or how much their friendship means to you.
*        Instead of spending hours on Facebook or other social media, re-posting other tired and trite messages and photos, send your own original, with love.
*         Do some old fashioned fresh-air walks to the local community bulletin boards and put up some scripture postcards for people to take.
*         Order tracts and pass them out.
*        Join a minstrel group and share the Gospel one on one.

Prayer: Heavenly Father help us to utilize our time to the fullest capacity being guided by Your Holy Spirit of truth, wisdom and revelation. Let us not be copiers, but endue us with fresh creativity, insight and beauty. Let us remember to make the most of every opportunity to share you Gospel, the Good News of Jesus Christ, Yashuah. I thank you for a fresh New Year with fresh anointing, in Jesus name, amen.

Brothers and sisters in Christ, occupy until He comes! Maranatha.

THE GLORY OF KOINONIA, Part 2

This week-end, my husband , Mark, struck up a conversation with a cook who was preparing his order. During the conversation, the pleasant young man remarked how he didn’t like the situation with the cooking oil that fried the pork also mingled with the other fried foods. He told Mark that his faith, Islam, prohibited the eating of pork. When the young man went outside for a cigarette break, Mark pointed out that he was concerned about defiling his body, yet he smoked. Then he shared about his Christian faith and his stance on dietary commandments. Then Jason told Mark he used to be a Christian.

A Facebook friend asked for prayer on her Facebook page. She was devastated about her boyfriend’s best friend committing suicide. She shared how wonderful and gifted he was and everyone’s shock about the shocking tragedy. As I basked in the warm sun, my heart suddenly ached for all the precious people who thought ending their life was the only way to end their torment. Even Christins were suicidal and I wondered what the missing link was.

Two other Christian brothers were also enduring a season of “disconnectness”.I continued to think about the various states of human emotion, embracing of life connection. The exquisite bed of soft solitude allowed me to even more deeply empathize with the emotion of alienation. I wondered what catalysts caused such separation in the spirit that ne would end their life. I continued to open my spirit to Holy Spirit for more understanding and insight. I thought of the Beatle’s Eleanor Rigby, John Lennona and Paul McCartney merely scratched the surface.

My thoughts went to a few relationships in my own life which had been severed suddenly by the other person. I felt very sad, having done all I could to reach out in love with a gifts and words of love. In both cases, the other person was a continual talker and most of the conversation was from their viewpoint. I must admit my weakness in not enjoying long, mostly one-sided long discourses . These people are insightful and intelligent, but their inability to venture out of themselves makes intimacy (and the continuation of the realtionship) difficult. Being so challenged with the TMJ- jaw-Dystonia issue, I need to limit my speaking. But if I am inspired by the equality and graciousness of the conversation, (not consisting extraneous verbiage and long-winded rambling). It can be draining and not edifying. And usually when the person talks for son long, I usually forget what I wanted to say!

Stimulation and inspiring conversationalist are rare. As I’ve often mentioned in many of my blogs and teachings walking in God’s excellence encompasses every aspect of life, particularly communicating and relationships. I believe poor communication, (with God and with each other) skills and self-centeredness is one great cause of sickness.

I believe poor communication, (with God and with each other) skills and self-centeredness is one great cause of sickness.

God ordained marriage and family for His glory and companionship Today, dependence on technology, (whoever instantaneous and far-reaching) has caused a great deficiency and quality of substance. Some keep in touch through emailing and texting, but there is truly nothing as fulfilling and nurturing as one on one, face to face contact.

Koinonia, (intimate fellowship) is a very fragile and complicated skill-attribute which can only be nourished by Holy Spirit. Koinonia is more than socializing, fellow shipping or hanging out. Koinonia is an unselfish desire to reach out with genuine interest and passion . It is also humbling ones own superiority in favor of allowing another to freely express himself.

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or empty pride, but in humility consider others more important than yourselves. Pual wrote in Phil 2:4 4Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.

My prayer is that this precious revelation Holy Spirit gave me today, will will more illuminate the all in the body of Christ!

The Bible describes a special relationship between David and Jonathan in I Sam. 18:1 .

The soul of Jonathan was knit to the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul.

Do we love each other as our own souls, or do we just tolerate each other. If an experienced elder gives us advice, are we resentful of offended> Do we disdain those who are not as intelligent or educated as us? Do we even go as far to severe a  connection because of an irreconcilable difference? There are times to separate, (if the difference is spiritually or emotionally wounding) and minister from afar if there are urgent physical needs. We should keep in mind the urgency of staying together in these very dark times. The government and the non-believing world will not be the shelter when disaster hits! It is the haven of the body of Christ which will be the safe place.

Since every child of God, is adopted into the royal family, we are all called to unity Eph 4:12

The following verses are some of the most sobering verses in the Bible regarding our quality of stewardship and collectively participating with the building of God’s house!

1 Cor 3 11-15 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; 13 Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.14 If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

The bottom line, I ask holy Spirit daily, am I building up Father’s house or…am I tearing it down? God’s plan is to equip the saints for works of ministry, to build up the body of Christ, When God’s people start empathizing and show genuine interest in each other, we won’t feel, unloved, isolated and rejected. We will find purpose, joy and fulfillment in family, marriage and our love walk with God.

Heavenly Father, please pour you sweet Holy Spirit in even more glorious ways upon your body. So many lonely people are isolated, misunderstood and disregarded. Each one of us is special, fashioned by your won majestic hands, Father, let us continually forgive and let those who who hurt or offend us, also consider and ask forgiveness, so your family can be the LIGHT of the world You called her to be. Father mend the broken hearts in all of us and help us to be honest with You first and then with each other. Help us to take the lower seat, to get out of ourselves and to be interested in the interests of others! That will be a connective bond to draw us closer. Let us all, realize that none of us knows everything and if we humble ourselves and calls ourselves students of life, we will enjoy the wonderful of friendship and Koinonia. In Jesus name, amen.

God bless you beloved and may this post bring you into growth!
