WHY PRAY?

Prayer is the backbone of the Christian walk and without it, nothing can be accomplished in Heaven or earth. By the very power of our tongues’ confession we can move mountains,  fell giants and change the destiny of peoples and nations.

Many of our brothers and sisters have such a small vision of themselves that they don’t even believe that their prayers are heard. Why? Because they’ve not received a revelation of their identity in Christ.

The effectual, fervent prayer of a man or woman avails much Jam 5:17. Two main descriptive adjectives describe what kind of prayer moves God.  The original translation of fervent means to boil, to be hot, having fervor and zeal. According to Strong’s concordance, effectual,  means to energize or be energized. Barclay describes prayers as empowering contact with God. It’s not only a gateway to God for us, but is a channel to God for us! This should get us exited  because we are being plugged into the divine, all-encompassing power  of our almighty Heavenly Father.

Sometimes, we come into God’s presence as if it’s a chore or obligation. I definitely can understand that in light of the daunting, evil things transpiring around the world at present. Even the most passionate prayer intercessor can get disheartened and weary from travailing in prayer. I know that at times, as Holy Spirit  impress on me to pray about horrific events, particularly the ISIS invasion , (and their barbarically bloody way of Jihad) and the fetus marketing  I’m worn out when done and just want t get under the covers.

I would like to share with you how to get reignited with zeal and passion by reading about and meditating on the great prayer warriors of the Bible and how their prayers succeeded. Let us remember that some of them were fearful or young, but God uses those who are not equipped, but available and willing.

Moses

Moses had such an intimate relationship with God, that he was able to reason with the Lord.  His people, the Israelites resorted to idolatry while He was giving Moses the commandments on  Mount Sinai. God told Moses to go down quickly because he was about to consume His own people. Moses prayerful reply was reminding Jehovahah of the covenant He’d made with Abraham, Issac and Jacob. Then the Lord relented. When an intercessor knows his identity in His Heavenly Father, he is able to stand in the gap fr the people he leads. Many times Moses tried to convince God from not destroying the people because of unbelief and rebellion. Most of us are also familiar with Moses most famous exploit, parting the Red Sea.

Gideon

Gideon was a man called out by God as a judge during the period of the Judges  An angel of the Lord appeared and  called him a mighty man of valor!  Gideon replied that his clan, Manasseh was the weakest clan and he was least in his father’s house. His prayerful response was asking the Angel why his people were in such derision and ended his discourse with asking if he could lay out a fleece to prove His promise. God was gracious and listened to Gideon’s reasoning. From henceforth, Gideon boldly destroyed his father’s  Baal altar and later subdued the vicious Midainites! No matter what background or station in life, when God calls us to do great exploits, we can be assured that we will be victorious because He has called us to do it!

Joshuah

Since Joshua’s first escapade with the eleven other spies, he continued to be bold and faithful to God’s commands. He and Caleb didn’t flinch when they saw the size of the giants who occupied the land they were ordained to possess. num 13  Caleb had a different spirit than the other spies.  When Caleb announced to the Isrealites that the protection of the Anakim, ( a certain race of giants) was gone, they still protested because of intimidation of Caleb;s confidence that they tore their clothe and wanted to stone, Joshua, Caleb and Moses. The Lord was angry about their lack f faith and cowardice and  said that the only ones who would enter the promised land would be  Joshua and Caleb. These two men were greatly  favored and revered militarily. In another amazing miraculous episode, Joshua asked Gd to still the sun from going down so he and the army could finish ff their adversaries,

Nehemiah:

Nehemiah was another beloved man f God who had a heart fr his people the Jews. He was cup bearer to King, Artaxerxes

Lord, the God of heaven, the great and awesome God, who keeps his covenant of love with those who love him and keep his commandments, let your ear be attentive and your eyes open to hear the prayer your servant is praying before you day and night for your servants, the people of Israel. I confess the sins we Israelites, including myself and my father’s family, have committed against you. We have acted very wickedly toward you. We have not obeyed the commands, decrees and laws you gave your servant Moses.

“Remember the instruction you gave your servant Moses, saying, ‘If you are unfaithful, I will scatter you among the nations, but if you return to me and obey my commands, then even if your exiled people are at the farthest horizon, I will gather them from there and bring them to the place I have chosen as a dwelling for my Name.’

10 “They are your servants and your people, whom you redeemed by your great strength and your mighty hand. 11 Lord, let your ear be attentive to the prayer of this your servant and to the prayer of your servants who delight in revering your name. Give your servant success today by granting him favorin the presence of this man.”

Nehemiah was of an excellent spirit, compassionate and focused to organize the rebuilding of the beloved city, Jerusalem. The walls were breached in many places and broken down completely in others. Even the people’s spirits were broken, but he planned, organized and followed through with the rebuild ed. There were  several daunting adversaries intimidating the workers and who wanted to assassinate Nehemiah. Nevertheless, He prayed and those below him prayed fr God’s strength and success.anon

King Jehoshaphat

2 Chron 20 tells of King Jehoshaphat suddenly being encompassed-by the Moabites, Ammonites and other gro.  He was very afraid and had the people fast.

Lord, the God of our ancestors, you alone are God in heaven. You rule all the kingdoms of the nations. You are so powerful that no one can oppose you. You, our God, drove out the inhabitants of this land before your people Israel and gave this land to the descendants of your friend Abraham forever. They have lived in it and have built a sanctuary in honor of your name in it, saying, ‘If calamity, sword, flood,[c] plague, or famine comes upon us, we will stand before this temple, before you, because your name is in this temple. We will cry out to you in our distress, and you will hear us and save us.’ 10 So look here! The Ammonites, the Moabites, and those from Mount Seir—the people you wouldn’t let Israel invade when they came out of Egypt’s land, so Israel avoided them and didn’t destroy them— 11 here they are, returning the favor by coming to drive us out of your possession that you gave to us!12 Our God, won’t you punish them? We are powerless against this mighty army that is about to attack us. We don’t know what to do, and so we are looking to you for help.”

The Holy Spirit came upon the attending prophets and told King Jehoshaphat that the Lord would be with them and t not be afraid.  The King prepared for the victory by appointing singers to give praise before the Lord. They were to march in front f the army. The Lord launched a surprise attack n the armies and thousands f corpses all lay n the ground.

There are many other  stories of the great conquests by  God’s leaders, prophets, kings and servants and time just doesn’t permit me to share them all. They all had several things in common.

Queen EstherEsther

Queen Esther’s story is most amazing because she  started out as an orphan. Her cousin, Mordecia  adopted  and raised her. Esther’s Jewish name is Hadassah and she ended up being chosen as King Xerxes new queen after his former Queen Vashti was dethroned.  From all the many maidens, Esther excelled over them all. But the king  did not know her heritage.   Esther was faced with the greatest crisis of her life when Mordecai revealed an insiduos plane where Haman, the king’s second man in commend, caused King Ahaseraus to write a decree that all the Jews in the Land should be destroyed. When Mordecai found out, he told Esther.  She then called all the people of Susa to fast for three days as well as her maidens.  Esther knew her God and knew that He would deliver her and her people. The king could not change his decree, but  Mordecia convinced her that  it may be her destiny “for such a time as this” to stand and deliver her people. As it turned out, Esther requested to see the King and he heard her request. The king issued a Deere where the Jews would be able to defend themselves if any came to harm them. For this reason was the great queen Esther revered and the Jews celebrate the  holiday of Purim.

Daniel

Devote American Christian saints today complain that we are vexed by our  perverted culture, but there is nothing new under the sun. Daniel and  his friends were taken away and forced to live the Babylonian culture. He spent his whole life serving in the royal court of Babylon.Despite the influences of the pagan culture., Daniel thrived, communing intimately with His God. He was so focused, that he prayed three times a day, with his windows opened toward Jerusalem. Daniels’ captorss acknowledged that Daniel’s outstanding wisdom, training and intelligence was from His mighty God.  That dedication to God paid off when Daniel had to endure being thrown int the lion’s den;  Fellow servants of the King, came to accuse Daniel of not obeying the decree to worshiping him alone. The king was grieved because he loved Daniel and so revered the exceptional live he lived because of his God, Yahweh. They pressured the king and Daniel was thrown  into the lion’s den.

In the morning. after a sleepless night, the king rushed to the den were Daniel was and cried, “Daniel, servant of the living Gd, has your God delivered you from the lion’s?” He knew who the true God was. God is always near too those of a broken and contrite spirit. Gd always hears the cries of His children who are in covenant with Him. Do you disbelieve God’s almighty power and ability to save? I urge you to test Him. Taste and see…that He truly is good! You’ll not be disappointed.

God’s great prayer warriors have  several things in common

  • They were totally commuted to God
  • They were focused on Him alone being the victory over whatever challenge they had to face.
  • They were courageous
  • Most important, they knew how to worship and revere Him

Jesus, our advocate, intercedes on our behalf. Rom 8:34 When the disciples asked him how to pray, He gave us The Lord’s prayer as a templet. We should always remember  that He isn’t a magic genie or Santa Claus. He is Holy and we should enter in with reverence and honor Him for who He is… Creator of heaven and earth and God of the universe. Blessed are we that whenever we’re in a sudden bind and  can only say a quick prayer, God immediately hears us!  Let us thank Him for all our miracles and provision.

Whenever we feel our prayers aren’t being answered or we feel we are unworthy to have our prayer heard, we should recall and meditate on these aforementioned brethren who believed in their great God and loving father, for He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow! If we are in covenant with Father and abide in the vine, every prayer is always heard. It is time for us to enter boldly, with confidence and reverence and expectation.

LIFT UP HOLY HANDS

Letter to the End Time Bride of Christ.
LIFT UP HOLY HANDS

Greetings BELOVED, in the name of the Jehovah and Yeshua Hamshia!

I pray you are seeking His presence more and more each day. Because of the late hour, I write this most urgent letter to you. Husband Mark and I’ve been closely watching the spiritual, social and political landscape, especially what is occurring in Israel and the middle east. We are at the precipice of decision and Abba God compels us to draw closer. He calls some of us to mobilize his saints for the great spiritual battle ahead. We are less than three weeks to the election and the saints pray and intercede with trepidation.

I’ve had many sleepless nights weeping and praying on behalf of our America, my brethren, (The Bride/The Elect) and unsaved loved ones. Jesus seeks a bride without spot or wrinkle and carrying lamps filled with oil, (the Holy Ghost). Let us not be casual about our love walks. Let us not be empty handed and wearing wrinkled or stained garments for we shall not sit with him at the banquet table.

St. Paul tells us to lift up Holy hands, without wrath or doubting. God is looking for a people who hungry for Him and who want more than anything to please Him. I keep hearing “Come out from among them…and be ye separate” The closer I get to my Abba father, the less drawn I am to things even from things I loved from a year ago. I’m becoming more sensitive to profanity and nudity on TV, thus narrowing programs I feel comfortable watching. Music I loved and listened to last year, I have little interest in. I Pray my hands and heart are pure before Him as I lift up my hands. Are you lifting up holy hands?

Many of God’s people perish for lack of Knowledge. Secularism, (worldliness), pornography and profanity has infiltrated our senses so much that the line between holy and profane has been blurred. The way to get back to the basics of holiness is to get beck to Gods word as during the times of Jehoshaphat, Ezra and Nehemiah’s reforms. The law was presented before the people and they were transformed. This is what the churches and pastors of America need today. Many Pastors of many churches have neglected to feed their sheep the bread of life, the pure Word of God. Many accept Jesus as their Savior, but they lack knowledge of what their Lord asks them to do. Jesus said, if you love me you will keep my commandments. Are you keeping God’s commandments?

Going back to the Pentateuch and studying God’s commands will lead us back to the Holy of Holies. God has called us to be His chosen generation, royal priesthood, peculiar, (special treasure) and Holy nation. How can he walk with us and bless us if we embrace the things, habits and lifestyles of the heathen and profane? Often, we are not guilty of doing wrong, but for not doing right…when we should? Everyday, God’s people ask, what is my calling? Do what’s before you. be faithful in the small things. Make it a habit to do random acts of kindness at every and at any opportunity. There are countless things we can do each day to live a life of holiness, godliness and love.

Here is a checklist of things and areas that you may want to pray about with the Holy Ghost.

Duet 8:9 Abominations to the Lord

!. Sending children into the fire, sacrificing, killing. (abortion, child porn, child abuse/neglect).
2.Practicing any form of the occult; who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. New Age & higher forms of consciousness also apply as well as Ouija boards, Wicca/witchcraft, going to psychics and tarot cards. all these open up doors to the kingdom of darkness.

God’s people also should not go to movies, watch TV programs or read books about the occult, (such as Harry Potter) and Christian parents should not allow their children to dabble with these types of movies. Parents should also not allow their teens wear clothing or articles with demonic or death metal styles and pentagrams.

God also talks about the seven deadly sins he hates.

!. Are your eyes haughty?
2. Do you habitually lie?
3. Do you shed innocent blood?
4. Does your heart devise evil schemes.
5. Are your feet quick to run into evil
6. Are you a false witness? (do you gossip and spread lies)
7. And do you stir up conflict in the community. (Do you enjoy stirring up trouble in your home, church or community)
Disobedience

Are you Disobedient? Disobedience can seem nebulous and vague, but God has given us a conscience and if red flags go up, that’s something to investigate.

1. !Has God called you to spend more time in His presence?
2. has he called you to read and study his word more?
3. Are you spending way more time doing secular activities than praying, interceding and devotional time?

a. Computer games
b shopping sprees.
c. sports and other activities

Tithes tithes and Offerings.

Many of God’s people groan and complain about wanting a financial blessing, but they think nothing of throwing in a couple of dollars in the offering plate! The law of sowing reaping applies here. If you sow sparingly, you will reap the same.

Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it. Mal 3:10

VOTING is also a perquisite to being blessed. If we vote for a candidate based on flesh, the color of his skin or more entitlement programs, we err. God gives us specific directions about administering justice.

Duet 16 18-20
18 “You shall appoint for yourself judges and officers in all your [a]towns which the Lord your God is giving you, according to your tribes, and they shall judge the people with righteous judgment. 19 You shall not distort justice; you shall not [b]be partial, and you shall not take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and perverts the words of the righteous. 20 Justice, and only justice, you shall pursue, that you may live and possess the land which the Lord your God is giving you.

Exodus 23 6-9

6 “Do not deny justice to your poor people in their lawsuits. 7 Have nothing to do with a false charge and do not put an innocent or honest person to death, for I will not acquit the guilty.

8 “Do not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds those who see and twists the words of the innocent.

9 “Do not oppress a foreigner; you yourselves know how it feels to be foreigners, because you were foreigners in Egypt.

Yahweh invites us into the Holy of Holies through His son, Yeshua, but we had better be sure we are lifting up holy hands.

“I want men everywhere to lift up holy hands in prayer, without anger or disputing.” 1 Tim 2:8

God is calling His people in these end times to be an excellent people and His special treasure. We must stop living sloppy, careless lives. WE should always be accountable and scrutinize our lives before The Holy Spirit. No masterpiece was ever finished quickly. You are God’s masterpiece, His exquisite work of art. Wouldn’t you love to let Him show Himself through your life? It’s can be very hard and painful at times, but if you allow Him shape you on His potter’s wheel and you are patient, you will soon see the miracle He makes of your life!

WHAT CAUSED the FALL of of WTC?

The thick, suffocating cloud that exploded from the imploding World Trade Center buildings not only snuffed out the lives of thousands of civilians but also America’s idyllic  dream of peace and protection. A decade later, the survivors of lost loved ones and concerned citizens still question  the cause of one of the most infamous acts of terrorism America has ever experienced.

Who or what caused the destruction of the twin towers?

Though great debates rage around the world by top strategists, government official and religious leaders, the answer stares right at our faces, but much of America has become numb and deluded into disbelieving truth

It all began with the inception of our country by the God-fearing founding fathers. They knew of the power and protection of abiding under the shelter of God almighty and His promise to bless His people if they lived within the constraints of His commands. We’ve come a long way from that  vision’s birthing.

So why was the World Trade Center attacked?  Choice.  Choice, you ask?! God gave us the choice to make decisions whether for bad or good. The terrorists chose to not forgive their enemies and to retaliate with the intent to maim and kill. The American people chose not to vote into office  leaders with integrity and the best interests of their country men.  We, the voters also chose not to vote or to haphazardly believe the hype and eloquent speeches of candidates without researching their values or what they stood for.  We forsook our responsibility at the voting booth because we were lazy, didn’t care and/or didn’t believe in the candidate. and… worse of all, we allowed senseless, immoral and ignorant bigots to take away our freedoms, prayer in schools and government and protection for the lives of the innocent unborn on the pretense of inconvenience.

Who can we blame?

We have ignored the free gift of wisdom God has given us. God’s law was given through Moses to govern His people, The Jews.  God ordained the appointment of judges to govern the people so that justice would not be perverted, (Duet. 16:18).

The great leaders, judges and godly kings like King David, also had a heart after God. King David and Nehemiah, the King’s cup-bearer, who when surveying the wall of Jerusalem wept and prayed for God’s restoration of not only the physical walls, but also the spiritual walls (the hearts) of the people. So, where are repentant and humble leaders today?

God also made provision that the poor, the orphans and  widows to be provided for. Have we made provision for them? America, being such a great nation of affluence, technology and influence, the numbers of our poor have greatly increased and are no longer a small minority. Great folly has permeated this once great nation.

God is watching.

He is allowing evil to weaken the once tightly woven tapestry, the melting pot of the world, America, and to topple the former majesty of our godly foundation. A nation cannot stand when contamination of deceiving half-truths, compromise and immorality are the rule. We are paying a heavy price for trying to edit God out of our constitution.

We cannot blame God for the evil that has transpired over Manhattan, The Alfred Murrah Building in Oklahoma and our Christian missionaries abroad.  Our choices to ignore, to condone and conceal evil and our choice to pervert justice will continue to bring forth dire consequences. God won’t stop us. He lets us do whatever we want and He will continue to grieve knowing well the wonderful path we could have chosen if we obeyed His laws and wisdom.

Our country will continue to languish in debt,  division and uncertainty as well as impending judgment if we continue to foolishly vote for incompetent and greedy leaders and CEOs who care nothing about the rising debt, mass starvation, poverty and the abolishing of the working poor and middle class. God does care about the sickly, disabled widows, the precious babies and the suffering destitute. He weeps for molested little girls and the battered wives  murdered by their own husbands. God weeps to see people defrauded and crushed under the weight of high taxes because of the wasteful spending of greedy government leaders, and unnecessary school administrators who live in opulent, leisurely splendor.

God is watching.

So, why my loyalty to this unseen, cruel God who allowed the WTC to crumble into a heap of ashes at the cost of the lives of courageous emergency personnel, firefighters and police officers?  I’m a humble recipient of countless helps and miracles during the great storms of my life. Even after abuse and attacks, the tender-hearted God of the  orphan and widows came to my aid and made something wonderful out of misery! Rather than me becoming bitter and seeking revenge, He has tamed my fearful, battered heart into one of courage and great compassion for the wounded I’ve met during my travels.

God is always watching.

Men and women of leadership, God is scrutinizing your lifestyles, ideologies and visions. Are they in line with what God has ordained, justice for all, provision, humility and prosperity as a reward for honest, hard work? The penalty in the old testament for sacrificing innocent infants was death, yet millions upon millions of precious voiceless victims are murdered in their own mother’s wombs. We allow perverts and pedophiles more justice than the victims themselves! We wonder in amazement why terrorism has  reduced this once proud and prosperous nation  to the infamous depths of reckless irresponsibility, perversion and  apathy.

Even the minds of our greatest intellectuals have become dull and foolish, devoid of wisdom.

God is watching.

Imagine a people glorifying and then voting for a candidate because he is Black, a beautifully voluptuous woman or a very popular  action hero-movie star  without having any idea of his character, integrity or ideology? America is reaping what we’ve sown and if we continue living beyond our financial means, killing unborn babies and editing His great and Holy name from our constitution, we will enter a Martial, Sharia law or communism.  We are headed for a great cavernous abyss which we will not being able to escape free-falling into.

Now is the time to seriously ponder our past mistakes and turn around in the opposite, (God) direction.  We are still We the People and God will re-adopt us into our rightful heritage if we repent and change the attitudes and motives for our poor choices. The old testament depicts the countless times and judges who have saved the Jews from sin and captivity. We ought to learn a lesson and read the Bible. There is much wisdom to be learned from the mistakes from others!

So….captivity or freedom, anarchy or peace, widespread poverty or prosperity and finally… the annihilation of America as we know it or America the free?

God’s  plan for us is good…and very simple… “Follow that which is just so that you may live and inherit the land, ” (Duet 6:18).

America…will you live or die?

GIANTS WILL FALL

He who has an ear…let him hear. This message is for the church, the Bride of Christ whom God has already supplied all ability, protection and provision.

Our media has portrayed great worldwide upheaval. Fear engulfs even God’s people when they allow themselves to be overwhelmed by  work, house  obligations and physical challenges.  I’m wont to fall prey to fear pangs, but despite all the myriad tangible and spiritual assaults, Abba Yahweh has placed us in the world to be salt and light.  His great promises and the Biblical testimonies of our great patriarchs and matriarchs prove His word. Several of my favorites are Joseph, Moses, Elijah and David. In times of the weight of fear and anxiety, I reread shepherd David’s account of his great victory against behemoth Goliath.

The Philistines camped against the Israelite sending their giant, Goliath to intimidate and mock.

“Why have you come out in line for battle? ” he chided. “Choose a man for yourself and let him come down to me. I defy the armies  of Israel this day. ”

Saul and the whole Israelite armies trembled. Imagine the atmosphere of that scenario. After all the great miracle God did for the Israelite after they left Pharaoh’s captivity, they forgot and let fear take them over.  Meanwhile,  David’s father, Jesse had sent David down to bring food to his older brothers  enlisted in the army. David heard the giant Philistine’s boasts as he presented himself to the Israeli  commanders day after day.

Surveying the Giant’s audacity, David asked incredulously,   “Who is this uncircumcised Philistine that he should dare to defy the armies of the living God?!”

David’s words were reported to Saul and Saul  called for him. As the story goes, David killed Goliath with only his stone and slingshot. I don’t believe David had an inkling of doubt that he would be unable to take down such a large foe. David walked in full confidence and authority in God’s ability to overcome Israels’ enemy.

God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind, a mind to oppose all fears, doubts and failure and the church must walk in that same power, confidence and authority as young David did so long ago. God’s  empowerment has not changed despite some Christian denominations who believe that  miracles were for that time. God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow and  time and space are no limitations to the great I AM!

Time and time again, the Bible depicts with great authority, the victories our Biblical forefather’s tasted. Moses speech was an impediment to him, but he accepted the challenge God set before him to lead the Israelite s from their captivity.  Though Moses, foe, Pharaoh was obstinate, Moses continued in obedience despite the calamity and suffering that came against the Egyptians.

Most of the church today looks on and bemoans the chaos and disaster occurring on our planet  for the most part, we passive  onlookers, rather than offensive warriors opposing Satan’s  global assaults. We should be like David, boldly coming against our uncircumcised infidel opponents with an authority and certainty that God’s goodness, restoration and salvation shall overcome and prevail! I see the church acquiescing and cowering regarding demonically orchestrated events.

Psalm 91:7 says that a thousand shall fall, ten thousand at your right hand, yet it shall not come near you.

Remember when the deadly plagues  fell upon the Egyptians because Pharaoh would not let the people go. The plagues continued to come. The final and most devastating was the death of the first-born. But God’s divine protection was upon His people for he provided a covering, the blood that was to be painted on the door lintels. Today, Jesus blood is the protection as we apply it to all dangerous situations…if we cover our dwellings with it. Many of God’s people are ignorant and perish because they are not aware of His eternal providence and provision.

Again and again, we hear of people ask, “Why did God allow the World Trade Center buildings to be attacked?” Why did God allow the earthquakes in Haiti and Japan.” Well, duh…did any of us plead the blood of Jesus  over these?

I am studying an amazing book on Psalm 91, authored by Peggy Joyce Ruth. She teaches verse by verse the  supernatural and all-encompassing protection as well as  testimonies of countless people of faith who evaded a myriad of dangerous circumstances through standing on Psalm 91’s promises. The Bride of Christ and the Jews can enjoy this very same blessing today if they receive and believe.

Our God is also a God of second chances and occasional changes His mind in cases of true repentance and weeping.  King Hezekiah is my favorite example of such a trust.  He had fallen to a serious illness and the prophet Isaiah told him to set his house in order for he would not recover  King Hezekiah could not accept this and set his eyes on God, praying that God would allow him to live. God was so moved by his tears and prayer that He added 15 years to his life and also saved the city from the  King of Assyria! God does hear our faith-filled and powerful prayers and I know it is within every child of God to walk in God’s power and authority.

god is lifting me to a new place of faith and I’ve made it a bedtime habit lately to set my thoughts and worship on my gracious  Abba Yahweh who’s provided a warm bed, food, clothing, a wonderful husband and great country. I plead the blood of Jesus over America, Israel, the awakening of the church, protection from demonic nuclear assaults, plague, EMP blasts and a host of other catastrophes.

I remember years ago moaning to my old pastor about all the evils of the  world.  I was offended by his  response ,”Don’t curse the darkness. Light a candle.” Today I see why he said it. To often we accept all prophecies or even the magnitude of them as written in stone, but our God is gracious even in judgment. He loves His people and doesn’t want one person to perish without Him.  If we repent and turn away, He wants to heal our land. When will we get it?

If every child of God wept in anguish over our lost generation and spiritual darkness, God will help us to turn the Titanic around! It is still not too late, but we have little time. Let the church start praying and weeping with the same  heart as pastor  David Wilkerson of Manhattan Church less events would destroy.  There is an increasing joy and confidence each day as I pray with other brothers and sisters in God’s power and authority against the principalities of darkness. .

I encourage you, my friend to start reading and applying God’s great provision and see what He will make of you!
