EFFECTUAL, FERVENT PRAYER

I was doing my weekly  task of calling the headquarters of the many ministries and political organizations who were constantly sending their requests for donations. Recycling all the unwanted junk mail was a mundane and frustrating task, but  I was making some headway. One such mailing in particular was from the the national Pro Life alliance. I called the number to sequester our name taken off their mailing list.  The lady who answered the phone ( who happened to be the CEO) politely asked me  for my name and address so she could remove us from the mailing list. Suddenly I felt to ask her how her organization was doing with their stop-abortion agenda. Abortion has always been  a burden for me, but now was the perfect reason to blog about it today.

I knew that beside getting our senate and congress compelled to  address abortion head on, I asked her what else they were doing to gain victory.  The concern for the murder of the unborn was also spilling over into the burgeoning medical-scientific research and experimentation of  of stem cell research involving fetuses. I’m troubled that  much of the church seems either uninformed or just plain apathetic about God’s opinion of baby-killing. And that is plainly what it is.

I’ve been journaling since 1977 and have yet to ignore things which  offend, baffle or enrage me.  The slaughtering of the unborn is one thing which ignites a righteous anger and I feel disturbed that only a remnant of God’s people are in an uproar about abortion and   lone wolf atheists opposing everything Christian. I wonder about the condition of the church  in the 70’s. Why didn’t pastors  inform and prepare their congregations for spiritual warfare against the repealing of prayer taken out of schools? It looks like that period was very lukewarm and nonchalant about upholding righteousness and holiness. and sadly, this door opened up to our protective hedge being breached and any foul, evil and destroying entity could now have unlimited access.

What really disturbs me is the mainstream public’s shock regarding the attack on 9/11.  It is ludicrous that many people (probably most of them never set foot in church or had any kind of relationship with Him) had the audacity to be horrified  and angry at God for allowing the fall of the twin towers! Did any pastors or rabbis inform  their people that their parents and grandparents are responsible for allowing the breach by their lukewarmness and apathy towards prayer and the things of God. We need to start addressing our  parents and grandparents mistake and repent for them and ourselves.

Sadly,  America’s destiny has already been sealed and we will have to pay for our  parents  immoral apathy.  Though many of us weren’torn yet or were children or adolescents at the time of the repealing of prayer in schools and the Roe vs Wade, that doesn’t exempt us from making a stand now to stop abortion and infanticide! Untold millions of babies are still be murdered each year and the latest stem cell research.

America’s corporate sin is great and will be retaliated, nevertheless, God’s word says that the son shall not pay for the father’s sins and vice versa. Each one shall  stand in account for his own personal sin and for corporate sins he participated in, (which would also pertain to not doing the right thing when faced with the ability to do so). Gloriously,.  God’s own son has made provision for those who are in covenant with Him and His Son and they alone will be protected and provided for when  the world systems collapses and God’s righteous judgment crashes down. No one will be able to stand His wrath and His wrath is fair.(Selah)

Stop and think for a moment about what occurs doing an abortion. It should be law that every person within the age of consent watch a live video of an abortion. Maybe this is what it will take to open our eyes to the barbarities of these bloody killings.  Maybe one of these  live killing videos will  move our senators, congressmen and judges to boldly address the murder of the unborn. The enemy is alive and well and perpetuating human sacrifices, thus the killing of babies via abortion or stem cell research.

This video is extremely disturbing and you’ll end up weeping for this precious one as I did.  Please pray for these  priceless babies not be butchered anymore. Thank God for Alex Jones and his powerful  documentaries and journaling!

Going back to my phone call with the Pro-life administer, I asked her to explain to me what things were needed to gain victory. She said  the people needed to deluge their  lawmakers, the senate and congress with phone calls and letters.

I thought about this for a moment and pondered that we spend hours on Facebook, watching sports and TV programs and video games, but we can’t spare an hour to make calls or compose a letter to our congressman to remind him that abortion is murder of an innocent unborn baby! I hope someone is being convicted, because I am. God’s people are embroiled in stupid strife,  upset about being “unfriended” and even pastors are focusing their energy on slandering other ministries and/or ministers! People, we need to get focused and compassionate. We will have to stand an account for every idle word we speak, every negative attack-or suspicions we make on others and every sins of omission, ( refusing to do the godly thing, like voting responsibly, electing Goldy leaders and adamantly opposing evil, (in our laws and our constitutional freedoms…which we are apt to lose because most of us just don’t care). We are called to protect the orphans, widows and strangers in their time of affliction! Jesus called us  to be the salt of the earth and a city on a hill, not to acquiesce to one loud mouth atheists who gets hi/her way and gets the job done because of his extreme determination! Where is our determination, folks?!

Let’s not think for a minute that our constitutional freedoms and right to life will exist without strong  opposition.  Satan’s MO is to enslave and  cause misery to all of humanity. So, Jude tells us in 1:3 to contend earnestly for the faith!

Jude could not resist appealing (parakaleo, “exhorting, encouraging”) to his readers that they contend earnestly for the faith. The powerful expression contend earnestly translates a present infinitive (epagonizomai) and stresses the need to defend the truth continually and vigorously (cf. 1 Tim. 1:18; 6:12; 2 Tim. 4:7). It is a compound verb from which the English agonize is transliterated. From Jude’s day until now, true believers have always had to battle for the purity of the salvation gospel.

That being said, it is time for the body of Christ to start contending for righteousness, obedience to God and His commandments and to our calling to be our brothers/sisters keeper. Until we do that, our nation will receive utter devastation. It may be too late for the nation as a whole, but it is not yet too late for His true church to redeem herself by repentance, fasting and prayer.

Come now my brother and sister, let us reason together in the lord and let us receive God’s mercy helping to repeal  Roe Vs Wade and incite prayer in schools and public places.

Prayer:

Father God,  we repent and renounce our wicked nonchalance towards evil, unrighteousness and sin. We cry out for your mercy, even in wrath, (Hab 3:2). Remove our heart of stone and replace it with Your heart of flesh, (Eze 36:26) Deploy your warrior and ministry angels across the United States, the every church, pastor, rabbi, teacher and public servant, every mayor, governor, assemblyman, congressman, senator and  as far as the white house, to war against the spirits of death, violence, apathy, hate, fear and injustice. Holy Spirit, incite your people to get spiritually aggressive against abortion, stem cell research and defending our constitutional rights. We know that time has run out, but perhaps if there are two grains left in the hour glass, let them stay suspended until we have our victory in you. We declare  a shift in the earthly and heavenly realms. We thank you, Father, for once again hearing our fervent and effectual prayers. In Jesus name, we pray, amen.
